Block Buddies

A small, but yet cute Tetris game. It is still in development, however core gameplay is done.

Game is currently in bug fixing and polishing stages. Look and feel will change in future releases.

Gameplay

Arrange the Tetriminoes in a way that they form a solid horizontal line whereupon they will be cleared from the grid (board). You can clear up to four lines at once.

Once the Tetriminoes hit the top of the board, you will lose the game. The Tetriminoes will speed up the higher the level you progress to.

You can "hold" a Tetrimino if there is not a good spot on the board. You can only hold one Tetrimino at a time, so releasing it will swap it for the currently spawned Tetrimino.

Windows Controls

• Left and right arrow keys: Piece shifting left & right
• Up arrow key: Hard drop
• Down arrow key: Soft drop
• C key: Hold piece
• Z key: Rotate CCW
• X key: Rotate CW
• LShift key: Rotate 180
• F4 key: Reset
• Esc key: Pause

Android Controls

• Swipe left and right: Piece shifting
• Swipe up or tap: Rotate
• Drag down: Non-locking soft drop
• Tap the right top box: Hold piece
• Drag & Swipe modifiers can be changed in settings
